Texture was filmed entirely on location in the scenic seaside City of Portsmouth, New Hampshire in early June 2016. Jumpin' Jay's Fish Cafe was always the restaurant the writers envisioned for the film's setting, as it captures a certain timeless ambiance which would have been "home" in 1955, 2015, or 2085.
